Family
Being a photographer for 11 years now, my love for shooting families started very early on in my journey when I was still studying photography. There was something about being able to capture how pure and inquisitive little humans are, that pulled at my heart.
Moving to the UK, I got the privilege to regularly capture life through the eyes of my niece, and now having my own daughter, I get to experience life all over again, and I don't want to miss a second of it.
My idea of a family shoot is not big studio lights and coordinated outfits, it's chaos, sticky fingers, fresh air and crazy family dances.
I want you to look at the photos and say, "Jip, that is so typical us".
I know being in front of the camera can still be daunting, don't worry, I will prompt you through means of story telling to get the most natural photos, but I still want you to be yourself, and capture the true essence of who you are as a family.
I would love to tell your story and make memories for you that last a lifetime,
Call it a clan, call it a network, call it a tribe, call it a family: Whatever you call it, whoever you are, you need one.”
